The Equipment
From previous travels I've a pretty good idea what equipment I want to take with me. Here's a list of what I intend to take with me, minus all the obvious stuff. I'll update changes as I go along.

PDA with Sat nav, games, spare battery, huge memory card, quick processor, half decent camera 3 meg or more, sat nav receiver.
Memory Stick
Camera, digital small but good with audio, good size screen, optical zoom, and video, 7mg pix or above
Digital SLR, wide angle, and zoom.
Mini tripod.
12v aa/aaa Battery charger
tiny laptop with huge battery and car charger, running various programs.
Small condenser mic
Powered speakers for pda.
Clothing
Foot gaiters, waterproof glove covers.
Good bike boots, comfy to walk in and waterproof.
Good three way riding gear removable linings
Draggin jeans for hot climates.
Summer gloves, and winter gloves waterproof.
Waterproofs.
Decent crash hat.
2 Changes of clothes
Leather Jeans just incase

60 litre waterproof roll bag
20 litre waterproof roll bag
Camouflage cover 12ft/10 at least and quality bungee and pegs.
Quality tent but with space for belongings and one you can sit up in.
Camping Chair with back.
Good knife opinal/leatherman
