In June 2008 I'll be riding a motorcycle solo, round the world in an attempt to raise money for two Charities. 
Firstly Lothlorien, a therapeutic community for people with mental health difficulties and secondly Napac, a charity set up to help sufferers of childhood abuse. I'll be riding from Scotland to Alaska, via Europe, the Middle East, India and Australia. In Australia I'll be catching a boat to South America and riding all the ways up the Americas and Canada to arrive eventually in Alaska in the summer of 2009. Whenever possible I'll be attempting to avoid transporting by air, instead taking any available passages by boat in an attempt to reduce my own carbon footprint and perhaps bring some awareness to others of our impact on the global environment.
